Gates of Gold, recorded and released during 2008, extended the Scottish theme and included some original compositions that won major awards at the Tamworth Festival. The CD itself won the major Fiddle award at Tamworth and was voted “Best Australian Folk CD of 2010”. The CD was produced by Hugh McDonald.

Celebrating 10 years of fantastic music, friendship and fun, this 2006 CD from the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club features some of the best players of Scottish music to be found in Australia under the musical leadership of Judy Turner, this time turning their attention to Scottish music old and new that has found its way to the Antipodes. There are traditional songs given a new twist, new songs given a traditional twist and tunes from all parts of the Scottish diaspora. And all with 30 fiddlers! Recorded straight after a two week tour of New Zealand, the band is in top form.
